IAAP History


Founded in 1942, The International Association of Administrative Professionals is the world’s largest association for administrative support staff. IAAP provides up-to-date research on office trends, cutting-edge publications, outstanding seminars and conferences, and top-notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance their skills and become more effective contributors to their employers.

The Winnipeg Chapter was founded in 1962 and has been a continuing source of empowerment for Winnipeg’s administrative professionals ever since.

Mission


IAAP’s mission is to be the acknowledged, recognized leader of administrative professionals and to enhance their individual and collective value, image, competence and influence.

Objectives


To elevate the standards of all administrative professionals and to promote their working relationships with management through continuing education, authorized programs, and publications.

To inspire and equip all administrative professionals to attain excellence.
